My wife and I have several long road trips coming up, and purchased this player to keep the kids contented on the long drives. We looked at a bunch of different units, and finally settled on this one. We are not disappointed.
It's excellent, especially in the price range its in (below $80 for a 9" Portable DVD Player)!!! A total steal! The picture is awesome and the sound is phenomenal for such a neat product. The 9" screen size works wonders and we are able to watch movies without squinting our eyes as you would probably have to do with a smaller size player. The battery has a good life, and it's just a nice bonus that in addition to the AC adapter, it also comes with a car adapter. The construction is solid and the controls are well laid out and easy to use.
We're very happy with the purchase and would definitely recommend this little player to anyone looking for something quality at a decent price.

If you are considering purchasing this DVD player, be aware that the resolution of this unit is not real high! I could not even find the actual advertised resolution. This is a great DVD player for kids or people that don't desire a high resolution picture. You will notice this as soon as the unit is turned on. A welcome screen appears (a pixilated graphic) and is your first clue. Then, once you begin playing a movie, you will notice pixilation of the video as it plays. Note that in all the product descriptions of this unit (even on the manufacturer's web site [...] there is no mention of the display resolution other than "Hi-resolution". I also fell that the battery life could be longer. We were able to watch one DVD movie and some out-takes on an airplane, then the screen began to go dark and the unit powered off.

Maybe we just got a lemon, but I just had to return the DVD player we received. Even though the player was fully charged AND plugged in, the screen would go black after about 10 minutes into a movie. We tried several different movies and the same thing happened with all of them. We even tried charging the player overnight to ensure the battery was completely charged (even though it should work just fine plugged in as well) and that didn't work either. Unfortunately, we'll have to shop for a different DVD player.
